Good Deal on Vegetable's Illustrated cookbook

Hi- I subscribe to Cook's Illustrated magazine, and I get lots of emails from them promoting their other products. I got one today about their fairly new cookbook called Vegetable's Illustrated, which is 700 pages. They told me if I order it through this link, I can get it for $24.95. I just clicked the link to see how much they would charge me for shipping, and when I did, they gave me a discount code which they applied to my account, and even taking into account they were charging me for shipping, the whole bill came to $11.14. Plus I get a free 30 day trial of their all access to their website when I enter in the code. I don't know why they did not charge me for sales tax. I thought they had to in Illinois now.

It was strange because when they asked me if I wanted to continue shopping and I clicked it on, my cart showed as empty. I also just found out that there is another code you can use on any cookbook on their site. It is CPGZZTVDO. Apparently you can use this code more than once, and you can get Cook's Science for $9.50 plus shipping which is $4.95, or free if you spend $45 on their site.
