We love that Honey Smoked Salmon that seems to be available everywhere from Costco to Sam's Club etc.
We smoosh it on toasted bagels with or without cream cheese, tomato and sweet onion.
We break it into pieces on salads next to a hard-cooked egg, spinach, a tiny bit of the dreaded kale, etc.
We sometimes mix it with cream cheese and eat it on Triscuits.

But it seems like there must be some other great ideas what to make with this fantastic ingredient.

What do you like to do with it? Thanks for your ideas!

I don't use much honey smoked salmon, more of a fresh salmon, lox or gravlox guy though I did make a damn tasty salmon patty* from canned salmon recently.

So Gary, why are you posting? I looked at the Honey Smoked Salmon website and they have many (many) recipes using their product. ----> Link you may wish to take a look.

*1950 called and wants their recipe back. :)

Thanks, Gary! I don't know why I didn't check there first. What a huge list of ideas!

I like the idea of sushi rolls especially since I already have the rice in our pantry.

But potato pancakes topped w greek yogurt and honey smoked salmon is even faster with a package of Kasia's potato pancakes in our freezer.

I also got down The Flavor Bible book and they do have a separate (from just "salmon") entry for smoked salmon. This book is such a great source of ideas. I like the "flavor affinities" list at the end of each ingredient.

    Joy,

The Flavor Bible is amazing, fun to randomly turn pages simply for ideas. In fact I got mine out and it opened to eggs, #154-#155, appropriate as I've been on an egg kick lately. Some really egg-cellent ideas.

Re salmon and potato pancakes, decades ago we had dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Chinois, one of our appetizers was Crisp Potato Galette with Smoked Salmon & Crème Fraîche topped with a dollop of caviar, which I understand is a signature of his for the big Oscar party ball and on pizza at his restaurants. I've been making variations on both themes for decades, often with home-made lox or gravlax.

Next time I'm at Costco I'll pick up a pack of honey smoked salmon, thanks for the idea.

    Regards,
    Gary
