I am planning to make New York style hotdogs and from my research the most commonly used hotdog is Sabrett

Looking to buy in the Chicago area?

Also from my research...

New York Hot Dog = hotdog, bun, sauerkraut, onion sauce and spicy brown mustard

Onion Sauce = onions, cinnamon, chili powder, cayenne pepper, ketchup, water

I have bought them at Woodman's. Never mind, I was thinking of another NY hot dog: Sahlens.

There is a hot dog stand specializing the Buffalo, NY hot dogs in Mundelein: Franks for the Memories. He is also offers Buffalo chicken wings. Those are hot dogs from Sahlen's.
