My youngest daughter pretty much worships Martha Stewart

And that is not the worst thing in the world that could happen.

She has subscribed to Martha Stewart Living for some time now, and tonight she prepared this fabulous pie, with a potato crust, filled with prosciutto, parmagiano, penne and spinach (page 117, October issue). It was fabulous. Here are some pix.

    First a wide shot:

Yeah, I’m a proud dad (plus, I’m cool with her admiration of ex-convicts; perhaps now she will have a greater appreciation for some of daddy’s friends).

Be sure not to miss Martha's new Apprentice-style show tomorrow (Wednesday night)! I love trashy reality TV shows *harhar*

That looks delish. All the pies in that article looked good -- I'm glad to know they actually turn out well in a home kitchen. Now I'm brave enough to try to make one! (The Alsatian potato-cheese one caught my eye.)

P.S. I too am enamored with Martha, primarily because of her sheer marketing power.

I believe my daughter is making one of the pear pies on Wednesday.

All these pies seem to scream, "Hey Atlkins, take this pie and...!"

I won't say who, but there is a member of this forum who has fantasies that include Martha Stewart, chenille shower curtains, and BBQ sauce stains on the ceiling above the tub.

    Hammond,

Just so happens I have a picture of your youngest making her signature dessert "shrimp cocktails."

They were as delicious as they were Martha Stewartesque.

Your Coquilles Saint-Jacques were something to be reckoned with as well.

    Enjoy,
