I seem to be on every food industry mailing list these days. Just got a mailer from UC Davis, home of "new world" Enology and Viticulture, advertising a class for distance learners. There are 28 hours of lectures on DVD, and a website where students can take quizzes and exams.
The class is $650. UC Davis also offers a few other wine-related classes (for credit) -- Wine Production for Distance Learners and Applied Sensory Science and Consumer Testing Certificate Program for Distance Learners.
Once section begins Winter '06 and the other begins Spring '06.
