I was out shopping for stuff to make for dinner, and passed "Spice Rack Kitchen Suites." Thinking it could be a kitchen design place, I stopped in (never can get too many quotes for countertops), but it's a party rental hall kind of place:
Two big kitchens complete with Emeril-like bar around the cooktop. Each has a Thermador cooktop w/6 burners and grill in each, plus another full stove (4 burners plus oven) and double oven, big fridges, sink, etc. Commercial dishwasher with 2-minute cycle.
Each side seats 60, you can open the wall between for a bigger banquet. Do your own cooking or have a chef come in (they'll make recommendations).
It looks like you can bring your own food to cook, but they sell you liquor.
Rentals are $199 per day, $299 on Friday and Saturday.
They also have cooking classes, mostly on Mondays, mostly $35 (hands-on classes are $80). A household membership drops the class prices to $25/$65. Classes include Chinese with Tony Man of Chinese Mandarin Bistro on Jan 23, Italian with Maria Gamberale of La Fontinella on Feb 6 (and a hands-on on March 25), Carribean with Julio Ramirez of Julio's Cocina Latina, Thai with Chounphit Hatsady of Pad Thai Restaurant (Wheaton).
