I was told that there was a new bakery in the Gold Coast that did great cakes? I am looking for cake for Tuesday and need suggestions. Must be great chocolate. Any suggestions? This birthday party needs a Cake!

Sounds like a lot of people really need cakes on short notice in this town.

I'd recommend reading this thread for some ideas. I'm unsure about the Gold Coast bakery that you're referring to.

    Short answer, Bombon.

Short answer if you need to stay in the Gold Coast area, Fox & Obel. Though I'm curious what this new place is.

    Long answer.

You might be thinking of Sarah's Pastries and Candies. I can't remember where I've read about it. I've not been yet.

I think that's it!!!!! But I already ordered a cake from Dinkl's because everyone else was either closed on Mondays or said ordering for Tuesday was already too late. I will let you know how it is!
Thanks for all the tips. What a great forum.
