    W & S is offering cooking classes in May for $35--look, sample, etc. Are they worth it? Has anyone gone? Chopping Block has them too, but pricier--$75 or 80...What do you think? JOJO
    Looking for great food at good prices here on the banks of the Des Plaines River in River Forest.

    I think that the WS classes are "watch and learn" type classes, while most of those at the Chopping Block are completely hands on, ie, you actually get to cook during the class. So it would depend on which approach you were more interested in.

    The Chopping Block has a pretty good reputation, but I don't know about the WS classes, sorry!
