Any suggestions on where I can buy Nueske's bacon in Chicago? I Googled a bunch of queries but only came up with mail order options. Thanks.

    Mars Cheese Castle.

Okay, that's not really Chicago, I know. But they do have it, if all else fails.

The Cheese Shop at the corner of Marion and North Blvd. in Oak Park has a sign in the window saying that they carry Nueske's Meats. This shop is across the street from the Oak Park Metra Station, one block east of Harlem.

Try Wikstrom's Deli on Clarke, in Andersonville. I was in there on Saturday and noticed they have Neuske's (sp?) in the deli case.

    Cheers,

    Alleycat,

Bouffe, a nice little gourmet shop in Lincoln Square, carries Nueske bacon.

Thanks all. I picked some up at Sam's ($7.99/pack). Ate a couple pieces uncooked when I got home - awesome stuff. The rest'll go into a pasta carbonara this weekend, if there's any left by then.

I live 20 minutes away from Nueske's and we hardly ever go there. Every so often they have a huge sale and we will stop. My Mom would bring it back to Chicago whenever they were up this way. They do have good bacon.
