Before i get flamed i must point out that i have no association with this website/business. I came across is a couple of days ago, signed up for their beta testing (Haven't tested it yet, waiting for their approval) and i got a message from them today stating they have a restaurant giftcard promo sale tomorrow (CPK, Houston's, Cheesecake factory etc.)

This seemed like the most appropriate forum in which to post this thread. I may be wrong but i don't want to get called out as spamming

I just want to ask has anyone used or heard anything about this website before i commit to making a purchase?

I checked out the site, and it is almost identical to Swoopo.com (didn't make the link clickable because I don't want to drive business to their site), which is described in great detail as being a brilliant scam in this Slate article.

Personally, I would stay well away from these and any other pay-to-bid sites.

Oh wow, i didn't even know that there were established players in this field. Thanks for the link KhaoPaat. It seems like Circuspop is a little different than Swoopo. On Circuspop one has to pay to see the initial price, but they do guarantee lower prices than Amazon, so that's what tempted me. But i'll definitely think otherwise after having gone through that article.

Here's my advice. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SITES!

I lost £300 on swoopo trying to get a PS3. I saw all of them going for like 50-150 and then when I did it I stopped at £300. It's a total scam.
