This took longer than I thought possible. I got some excellent recommendations for an insurance agent from some really nice people here on LTH. It turns out that insurance agents in Skokie know how to get the job done. I learned a lot about insurance. Who knew one insurance company could block another company? Anyway, I got a great policy for about $275, which is considerably less than the $600 that I was quoted from my home owner’s policy. One thing is for sure. Cathy2 is absolutely right. I do sleep better at night now that I know my home and property are protected!
