    Hi,

If you have the book, is there any mention of the Tomato Lady? Molly O'Neill's personal assistant contacted me seeking her contact information sometime ago. I have a feeling it may have been related to this project.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

The Vienna Beef Factory Store has small, seasoned, uncooked, corned beef flats on sale ($16/4lb). I made one yesterday for dinner and can attest, it's hand down, one of the best I've ever had. The flats are also available at Costco. I followed the directions on the package, cooked it a bit longer with just enough water to cover the flat, using absolutely no additional seasonings. Be sure to cut it against the grain and it will crumble and melt in your mouth. If you like the corned beef at Jake's, Benji's, and McBob's in Milwaukee, you'll appreciate this home cooked product. Guaranteed!

Glad to hear how much you liked it, because I picked up one of those at Costco to cook for St. Patrick's Day today.
