2010 CSA- Pick ups in Chicago

Heritage Prairie Farm’s CSA will begin the first week of June and run weekly through October. We will also offer 2 holiday shares—one each before Thanksgiving and Christmas—totaling 25 weeks of delicious farm-fresh produce. The size of the weekly share is designed to feed a typical family of four. The quantity is approximately 1/2 bushel, or in other words a full brown paper bag. If you have a smaller family, you may want to consider splitting a share with a friend.

Summer: Eggplant, Summer Squash, Amaranth, Tomatoes, Basil, Head Lettuce, Scallions, Cucumbers, Peppers
Fall: Turnips, Rutabaga, Winter Squash, Cauliflower, Leeks, Onions, Boc Choi, Celeriac, Fennel, Brussel Sprouts
Holiday: Beets, Cabbage, Celeriac, Onions, Parsnips, Radish, Rutabaga, Turnip, Winter Squash
