Hi- I should warn people that I clicked the link to the thinktasty.com website last night, and McAfee warned me that the site was potentially unsafe, and so I immediately got out of there. Hope this helps, Nancy

I checked out the site, and didn't find anything inherently unsafe about it, which is not to say that I disagree with you about wanting to keep your distance.

I bet that McAfee probably freaked out when it encountered all the junk this site tries to load: dynamic ads, contextual ads, web analytics cookies, etc. Between OpenX, Quantcast, and ContextWeb, the page took ages to load...luckily NoScript blocked all that crap :)

Sorry - I'm not affiliated at all with the site. Just subscribe to HARO, saw this, and thought some restaurants might benefit. I apologize if it's not legitimate.

And no, I don't believe the "best" truly emerge from these voting-type contests. For the best restaurants in Chicago, along with LTH, I turn to TOC's Eating & Drinking Guide.
