@Darren72 - It'll be a lot more comprehensive. If you look at some of the restaurant pages, like that for West Town Tavern as an example (
http://yumbly.com/westtown) you'll see that there's much more than just a listing & menus. They've got their wine list (searchable!), Events, News, Photos, Bios and more. We want the listings to give people a much better feel for the overall experience for a given restaurant.
Also, I don't think MenuPages goes outside the city of Chicago itself.
We have some nice features too that, hopefully, will make it easier to use in certain circumstances. For instance, if you register and save restaurants to your favorites list, you can give your Yumbly nickname to a friend, and if they enter it into the Member Search field on any page, it'll show them your favorites list. They don't have to be registered themselves to do this, so it's fast & easy.
Since restaurants can add themselves and update their content whenever they like, our goal is to make it like the IMDb of the restaurant world.
@nr706 - If you wanna list off a few of these (missing, closed, misclassified) we'll happily fix those issues. One of our challenges is keeping up with some of those changes (especially closings) if the restaurants don't tell us, but we want it to be as accurate as possible obviously, so any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
