Petition for National Mobile Food Vendor Day

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a petition we just started to get the mobile food industry a little national recognition. We have started a petition to to get March 5th dedicated as the official Mobile Food Vendor Day here in the US.

You may wonder where we came up with the date, but it's easy really...it's the birthdate of Charles Goodnight, the creator of the Chuck Wagon.

The owner operators of these mobile food units deserve a day of recognition, and we want to get it done nationally, and officially.

What organization are you petitioning to?

I have the feeling all you need to do is coordinate on dates and details, then send out a press release.

There are two avenues we can follow to get the date recognized officially. To either start with the House of Representatives, or go to the Office of the President. At this point, we want to get as many signatures as possible, and go from there.

In regards to a PR, we definitely plan on doing that in the next couple of days.
