Curious what peoples experience has been with advertising in the redeye and advertising on facebook. We are a new restaurant in Chicago and have many restaurants back home in Lebanon. We are called Abou Andre Mediterranean Bistro and located in Chicago's loop. We have done one redeye for our grand opening with moderate success and want to continue to advertising. We are deciding if paid facebook( we have a business page http://www.facebook.com/AbouAndre) or twitter or redeye(print) ads are the best way to go. Has anyone had any experience with facebook or twitter ads? We would really appreciate any help in this category. Thanks for your time.

Suggest that you look at Google...both Google ads/pay per click and cookie-back banner ads.

If you are going to do a traditional newspaper (ink printed on paper) then strongly suggest you do an insert that floats versus space ad.

Regarding Facebook, just sat through a media results presentation for a client and Facebook did nothing. Expensive and no results. Different category but it was a huge waste of $$$.
