Does anyone know what happened to the Fun Young Foodie Club?
I went to one event at Pastoral on Broadway and it was fabulous. I know the founder sold the club but never heard anything else. I went to the web address today and it doesn't exist any more!

    Hi,

I believe they still exist. ChicaGourmet recently had a change on their board. They have co-Presidents and one of those co-Presidents is the founder and/or President of Fun Young Foodies. If anything, they they are trying to get both groups involved with each other.

    Regards,

    HI,

I was just over at the ChicaGourmet website checking their links. They have one for funyoungfoodies, but the link is broken.

I am on the mailing list for ChicaGourmet, they did send a notice in the last few months about fun young foodies joining forces with them via this new co-President. I would definitely seek him out for additional information. If Fun Young Foodies is disbanded, then please report back.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

How do you "sell" a group of people that meets to have a meal?

I heard they got married and moved to Naperville. Or was that the Lincoln Park Trixies? I always confuse those two.

I thought the founder had sold the name & web address?
I had only been to one event but really enjoyed it so much. I wish there were more. It seems like Chicagourmets appeals to an older crowd...FYFC definitely had a much younger client base.
I had been to their website when it changed over and thought they had a new event posted? But now the web address is defunct. :(

Yeah, I agree with your opinion of the members age range for each group. Really two groups who on don't seem very compatible. While I will occasionally go to a ChicaGourmet event, I still don't quite feel old enough to join!

I prefer LTHforum get togethers which are quite varied with absolutely no overhead charges.
