Boingboing led me to the discussion of
buying lots of Swiss Knights cheese to earn American Airlines miles, which in turn led me to
this entertaining discussion about whether someone could carry fresh oysters in their carry-on under the current TSA rules.
Oyster slime is a liquid. You would have to pick each oyster out, pat it dry, collect all the slime and put it in a (labeled) 3.2 oz. oyster slime container(s), then reassemble the mollusks airside.
This doesn't take into account that various parts of the innards that are either liquid themselves or gel-like. TSA will be quite diligent in checking for incendiary oysters.
Or you could stuff them all in your pockets.
