    LTH,

Michael Morowitz (EatChicago) will be on WGN Radio's "Technology Tailor" around 7:10pm tonight, Saturday.

General topics may include, how LTHForum's moderating works, how folks can get involved and start posting, what kinds of topics we cover on LTHForum.

    Should be quite interesting.

    Enjoy,
    Gary

Nice job, Michael. I'm glad Alex gave you the opportunity at the end to name a few favorites, and Khan's and Chuck's were great choices.

That's the third time in a month we've been on 'GN radio, and together with the Chicago Tonight gig and the rapturous reception we received at OTOM last week and Antonio's invitation to Xni-Pec on Wednesday, makes me thrilled and nervous at the same time about the great power (and correspondingly great responsibility) our little community is seen to wield. I hope we can keep on our straight and narrow, which for us is often the crooked and potholed ways to our little neighborhood favorites.

To Michael, Gary, Cathy, and other mods - if any of us new(er)bies get pitched this fall by campus radios or local rags for quotes or comments, to whom should we direct them?

Thanks. I didn't really expect the "what's your favorite" question (although it is very common). Khan's popped into my head because it was my most recent excellent meal. When pressed for a second choice I immediately tried to think of something clear on the other side of town.

    Best,
    Michael

You can always direct them to e-mail us: moderators@lthforum.com, which will immediately go to each of our mailboxes, then we can sort it out from there. If I didn't answer the way it was intended, then please ask again.

    Thanks for asking.

    As was I.

Terrific interview, you were interesting, articulate, "passion driven" is so much better a term than obsessed :), and it was a nice touch you wore a tie for the interview.

    Enjoy,

EC, an excellent explanation of the site and its odd name. I'm glad the interviewer had done his homework and actually explored the site prior to speaking with you -- he asked very good questions, I thought, for which you provided very good answers.

MikeG, thanks for setting up the link.

GWiv, credit where credit is due, I believe C2 has a trademark on "passion-driven," which I agree is a beautiful descriptor.

I can't take credit for that. I did hear it, or read it, from someone else (Gary, I think, or maybe Mike).

Oh, the story has been retold since ancient times. You just did an exceptionally good job of articulating it.
