For sometime now, Coke has been printing promotional codes, "My Rewards," on their products. You enter them at mycokerewards.com and earn all sorts of swag.

Somehow I got suckered into doing this. It's a pain in the keister. The web site is too busy, the codes are hard to read and enter, and it just takes up too much time. Still, I had just saved up 300 points, enough to get the classic red "Coca-Cola" script T-shirt when they raised the price to 335 points. *&^%! I buy Coke in one liter bottles, which I find the ideal carbonation in. Each bottle earns three points. At this rate, it will take me another month to finally get the T-shirt -- that is if they don't raise the price again.

So, my point is, if you're buying Coke products and have some extra time, enter those codes! But if you're buying and have no intention of entering and have just a little bit of extra time, pm them to me! I'll come up with some sort of prize for whoever sends me the most.

Really, for all the time I've spent on this, it would have been much cheaper to go here and purchase said shirt for $20. But, you know, in for a penny, in for a pound. Also, I think it makes it more fun adding you all to the mix.

Anyone else entering codes? Anyone get anything yet? If after I save enough points I find out I'll still have to pay shipping and handling I might have to switch to Pepsi.

I've got nearly 700 entered, but haven't redeemed any.

I'm thinking about the blockbuster rentals, which seem like a steal at 35 points or so each.

They raised the price on me again, but thanks to LTHForum, the T-shirt is on order. And no, they did not charge shipping and handling. The old collection of tie-dies and black concert T's is running thin.

I even have some points leftover. I may save to get B a matching shirt -- we're geeky that way, though I don't encourage her to drink many soft drinks.
