Happy New Year to all! I was wondering if anyone remembers a brand of microwave popcorn that came in a triangle shaped container and you opened it up from the top and inside there was a plastic bag. You put it in the microwave and then ate it right out of the container. It used to be sold at Venture, remember that store?

I remember Venture. I don't remember triangle popcorn.

I DO remember the days before microwaves, when it was either popping corn in a cast iron pot with oil in the bottom, or Jiffy Pop. We had to buy a Jiffy Pop a couple years ago, just so my daughter could see what it was.

Jiffy Pop, horrible, yet fond memories of the stuff. I bought some for my teenage son, just so he could see the expansion magic! It's kind of weird that they went to a plastic shaker pan. Makes you wonder if your popcorn has some sort of plastic on it.
