Post #1 - April 4th, 2009, 9:55 amThere's a feature story in this morning's Montréal Gazette about the family of leading Italian restaurateurs in Montreal. Great story. My favorite part is the photo here, which shows all the men folks happily gathered in their basement salumeria, surrounded by an incredible wealth of curing meats! MikeG will simply drool when he sees it. Note also the demijohns of wine on the shelf--from grapes grown in their back yard.
Not all great Montréal restos are French!
