I was hospitalized when I was 22 due to a convoluted set of circumstances that made it appear I had a heart attack but actually just had a heart murmur an irregular EKG. Long story short I was fed filet of sole the night before I was to be sedated for an invasive examination. Due to the sedatives, that meal was to be the last thing I ate or drink. Unfortunately the filet of sole was tainted and I spent the night with severe and uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea, to the point where I was shaking due to dehydration. I have not been admitted to a hospital since and cannot see myself eating in one again. John, Miami.
