I think he considers her a fraud. Someone who probably has people call her Chef, but doesn't have the organizational and managerial abilities. She is likely a pretty good home cook with teaching skills who likely elevates her students. She cannot handle the fast paced restaurant kitchen, because it is outside of her experience. Everything was fine as long as she stuck to her level of expertise. She is in way over her head.

Julia Child would have run into the same challenges as this lady. However, Julia always considered herself a cook and not a chef.

    HI,

I finally watched last week's episode online last night. Lacey finally got her act together and became a team player. Colleen got removed independent of the nominations, because it certainly looked like she missed the bullet until it made a u-turn. She was still calling herself a chef as she made her exit, only she believes this.

    Hi,

Colleen, the cooking school teacher from Nebraska, was one of those contestants last season who had a few Emperor has no clothes moments. She seemed generally regarded as a fraud by Gordon Ramsay. After being exposed, or at least edited to look like she didn't know her stuff, I wondered how her business may do.

I found she uploaded on youtube a portion of her Hell's Kitchen premier viewing party:

Commenting on her reasons for participating on Hell's Kitchen (558 views)

First interaction with Gordon Ramsay on Hell's Kitchen seen with her viewing party (1122 views)

She has a number of cooking videos on youtube as theclassygourmet.

    Regards,
    Cathy2
