Hi- Sorry that I posted this at the last minute, but there is a segment on Nightline tonight at 10:35 on channel 7 on super couponing. They gave two different coupon experts $50 to spend on groceries. One of the experts lives in the Chicago area, and has a website http://www.jillcataldo.com The other person lives in the Cincinnati area and also has a website. He bought $500 worth of groceries for $30 shopping at Kroger. Jill shopped at Jewel, and bought $114 worth of groceries for $50. The guy used tons of coupons, and got 82 pouches of tuna, along with huge amount of other stuff for his $30. It should be interesting to watch it. Hope this helps, Nancy

Hi- I just saw the segment on Super Couponing on Niightline, and the only reason that Nathan could get $500 worth of groceries for $30, was because he lives in an area that doubles coupons. Jill had a much more varied cart, and she had a lot of veggies, and some fruit and fruit juice. They showed Nathan's stash of goods, and he is definitely a hoarder. He has not bought any toilet paper in three years. He also has over 1,000 boxes of jello he got for free. I would be curious where he gets all his coupons.

They also had an interesting segment on Nightline tonight about Acai berries, and the hype that is used to promote it. Both Dr. Oz and Oprah are suing one of the promoters. This promoter claims that Dr. Oz and Oprah are endorsing his product.

On the same subject, did anybody hear about the guy that got something like 2 million airline miles by purchasing Jello pudding? He gave most of the pudding away at least. Hope this helps, Nancy

Hi Well apparently Nathan purchased most of the tuna coupons from a coupon clipping service. He also visited more than one store to make his purchases, which I don't think was fair. In the segment they also showed his stash of stuff he got really cheap, and he had a big pile of blood glucose monitors.

Apparently you can make money on them, and then the company gets you when you purchase the strips. It is kind of like printers. You can purchase computer printers cheap, but the cartridges are expensive. Hope this helps, Nancy
