Not sure where on the forum this belongs, but I'm seeking the name of a product most likely long gone from Chicagoland. I grew up in the NW suburbs in the 50's and 60's, and recall buying a cinnamon nut log from the local mom & pop foodstore. It came in a yellow wrapper, perhaps with brown lettering, open on the ends. The log was oval in cross-section, and roughly 10" or 12" long, 6" wide. It was rolled and fairly hard-baked pastry, rather heavy as I recall. Quite delicious, at least to a child's taste. I doubt it's around anymore, but would like to know the name if anyone remembers. Thanks!
