    It began as a hoax.

Then it became lunch for Kevin Pang and Phil Vettel.

Now, it's becoming the stuff of legend.

Sounds delicious and deadly, not unlike ReneG's FFCS (french fry/cole slaw/skin) sandwich.

I saw that article and could only think: "Sounds like Gus' next special at WaSC"

Chicken skin sandwich doesn't sound strange to me. Gribenes on rye was a staple of my childhood.

And eating chicken skin all alone as an app, as Eng pointed out earlier in the week, is not that unusual in some Chinese cooking, but eating layers of chicken skin on a white bread bun...well, that's a little "strange," wouldn't you agree? Yet, I could see how a bite or two might please.

Found this on an internet search. I'm not his biggest fan (worst Top Chef winner next to Hosea), but it looks like he came up with the idea a few months ago:

It's funny this chicken skin thing came along. I've been on a bit of a diet,(*gasp*), trying to get my health on before competing in Chicago's supersprint triathlon this Saturday. I was lamenting to my sister how it's been hard to eat out healthy. She told me that I should order chicken and I told her "if I order chicken, then I have to deal with the temptation of chicken skin. No way." She couldn't understand why I would be tempted to eat it and I told her that it was the best part!
