Used to drink a lot of this stuff as a lad. So-called "bum wine" was often all that was available at the urban Florida gas station convenience stores willing to sell booze to underaged kids (at a time when "legal" was still 18).
My 2 favorite bottlings were Blackjack 21, a fortified reddish-brown from Jacksonville made from orange rinds and other citrus processing remnants, and Mister Dude 44, a local homage to the more upscale MD 20/20. Both were barely potable, but each had spectacular graphics -- the former featuring playing cards and dice, the latter a "Huggy Bear"-type character with bellbottoms, putting his best foot forward in the R. Crumb/Keep On Trucking style. Something makes me think my parents tossed the bottle collection long, long ago.
