    So today i watched the mark mendez key ingredient for tomato leaves and then the feature abt chef and farmer and was literally brought to tears by the care, thought and attitudes of the dudes portrayed therein. these profound portraits found on the sky full of bacon blog are truely inspiring; thank you Michael Gebert for going and talking to these people and showing us these conversations. I am now going to watch all of the episodes from 1 til whatever it is now so thank you also for archiving!

    Well, gee, thanks for the praise (and thanks to Aschie30 for alerting me).

    Although Key Ingredient has occupied me a lot this year, there are actually three longform Sky Full of Bacon videos in varying states of completion (started, medium, almost done) and I hope to have one (the long-promised South Side barbecue one) up sooner rather than later this fall.
