Cuisine camera

In the August, 2005 issue of Bon Appetit, there's a little article about the new 5-megapixel Olympus Stylus 500 digital camera. It includes a "cuisine mode", which is supposed to help people take pictures of food in its most flattering manner.

There must be a lot of people out there taking pictures of their dinner.

The 410, mentioned over in this thread also has "cuisine mode".

Me, I don't see the point, since Cathy/Erik/Mike et al seem to do just fine with the standard presets.
