Eating Local [linked infographic]

Hi= I ran across this today while I was searching the web, and I thought some people here might be interested in looking at it. I tried to find a similar topic to put it with, and I could not find anything. I did find a few posts from 2009 though about a 20% discount to Lth forum members on colonics! That is before I joined the group. Here is the eat local link. It is from Oregon, but the message still applies to us.

However if another state did the same, wouldn't Oregon exporters loose business since the other state now once a week wouldn't import items from Oregon, thus causing layoffs in Oregon and lost of business.
I am all for local, however for the benefits of "it tastes better" as far as meddling in free enterprise never comes out good for anybody.
