Interesting article. Its seems like he is quite a character and still going strong. The most famous living chefs are media driven. They are not necessarily the best chefs. The ones who appear on TV and in articles are the ones that will be recognized by the public. Since Paul Bocuse is not plastered all over the food network and other places in the American media he does not always come to mind for many people. And oddly once a person gets really old, many people think they are already dead and surprised to hear they are not, or that they had just passed. That happened recently with Dear Abby. So many were surprised to hear she had been still alive. They were thinking of her sister Ann Landers.
