Growing Power featured in Johnny's latest newsletter

Hi- I get the great majority of my seeds from Johnny's, which is based in Maine, and has been in business for 40 years. They are wonderful. I get their newsletter which comes out once a month, and in their August newsletter, Growing Power is their grower of the month. Growing Power is a nonprofit gardening operation that works out of Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. They have tons of greenhouses, and so they grow veggies all year long, and they have a job training program. One thing that was interesting was that they plan on growing kale and swiss chard to be used in school lunch programs. I am not sure how many schools they are going to be able to cover. I think kale would be a hard sell to kids too. I like it, but I am sure that most kids have never had it, and would stick up their nose at it. Here is the link to the article.

Do they sell at any of the Chicago farmer's markets?
