After spending the day on a tractor, moving the drifts of white stuff from yesterday/last nights 40 mph snow, I'm sitting here warming up, cruising LTH. The threads about inherited items and seasoning cast iron reminded me of something we have that might be of interest here. It's not inherited but it
is cast iron.
A souse mould.......
(beer can added for scale)

The inside isn't as ornate as the outside, so if you really used it for souse, you'd have to use your imagination to see a pig face in the finished product. The rust isn't as bad as it looks, a quick seasoning will clean that up. This is eventually going to hang as a decoration in the kitchen, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Anybody else have anything unique or odd to share??
