Wonder Bread will soon be back on store shelves in the Chicago area. Flowers Foods purchased Wonder and four other bread brands from the bankrupt Hostess Brands’ last year, along with 20 bakeries, for $360 million. Flowers Foods, which makes snacks such as Tastykakes, said in a release that it has now exclusively licensed Aunt Millie’s Bakeries of Fort Wayne, Ind., to “produce and market” the Wonder and Home Pride breads.
