Yep, a cookbook store, coming in April:

Sounds like fun: food demos, tastings, readings. How bad can that be?

I can't tell from the Chicagoist article (or the Publishers Weekly article it links to) which block of "north Halsted in Lincoln Park" the store will be. (Even with Publishers Weekly's inclusion of a photo of the storefront.) Halsted near North Avenue? (My best guess.) Or nearer Armitage? Or nearer Fullerton? Or nearer Diversey?

Someone can probably identify it from the look of the storefront. Just curious.

Google can -- an image search turned up 2142 North Halsted on a real estate site.

    Thanks, Joel.

So that I can learn a new skill--what search term did you use? For grins, I just now tried "cookbook store north halsted" and "read it and eat," and neither one produced an address, whether I was doing a web search or an image search.

Using Chrome, On the Publisher's Weekly web page, I right-clicked the picture of the storefront and chose "Search Google for this image".

If you're not using Chrome, you may not have that right-click menu item, so use these instructions (source: Google's help site)
    1. On any website, right-click an image and select Copy image URL.
    2. Visit images.google.com or click the camera icon camera icon in the search box on any Images results page.
    3. Click Paste image URL.
    4. Paste the URL you copied into the box.
    5. Click Search by image.
