SOFA and forks

If anyone's attending SOFA this weekend, be sure to stop by the Flatware: Function & Fantasy exhibit in the back left corner -- there's some really wonderful stuff in there. Show a little interest, as I did, and the staffer may even give you a copy of the current issue of Metalsmith, which is devoted to the entire flatware design competition. Some of the items on the tables are the sorts of things Messrs. Cantu and Achatz might enjoy studying.
