I tend to find hyperbole such as "heart attack on a plate" annoying, so
this response by nutritionist Dr. Andrew Weil to a question on recent research on the health effects of saturated fat caught my eye.
I also tend to think that (a) heredity plays a much larger role in heart disease than diet and (b) the real hazard in dietary habits, whatever they are, is putting on too much weight, which puts stress on the heart. But that's just me. What do you think?
