Hello, I'm new.

I stumbled across this forum looking up pictures of food and it looks like a great place. Chicago is one of my very favorite cities, and the food there is the best. I always enjoy when I visit, and always come away with a full stomach. So, hello everyone.

Thanks for joining us. If I remember correctly, we know that you were once a Detroiter (as were several of us here, including me) and that you don't live in Chicago. So where are you now? And how's the food?

Hi, and thanks for the welcome. I'm actually from Flint, about an hour north of Detroit, but have spent a lot of time there. I am now living in Southern California, in a small mountain town about 30 miles outside of Bakersfield. The food is good, lots of great authentic Mexican. I am planning on moving to Denver with my boyfriend soon, and from what he tells me they have everything from Mexican, to great Steaks there. They even have a steakhouse that was frequented by Buffalo Bill Cody, so it must be really old. It sounds like a great place for a foodie like me.
