Cheesemakers create Stilton perfume

The Stilton Cheese Makers Association commissioned an aromatics firm to create Eau de Stilton, described on the association's Web site as featuring a "symphony of natural base notes including Yarrow, Angelica seed, Clary Sage and Valerian."

The article describes this aromatic breakthrough as "highly wearable," which I find highly unbelievable. Seems like it's got to be a gag gift.

What is most odd about the Play-Doh parfum is that it's available in a 1 and 4 ounce version -- 1 oz, I understand, it's a joke; but the 4 oz size (for forty bucks) suggests that someone would buy the stuff to actually wear and so would want it in quantity.

David, thanks for asking! The 4 oz bottle is the "family size" -- Mom, Dad and the kids will all want a daily spritz o' the 'doh -- or two! As I'm sure you must be aware (or would be, if you crawled out from under that rock once in awhile), eau 'doh is both a day and evening-appropriate scent. With normal use, 1 oz wouldn't last more than a month, at the outside.
