This is an amazing example of crazed PC sensitivity and endless argumentativeness on a list-serve. (Though at least some still have a sense of humor, thankfully.)

    Blue hat lost.

    HI,

My sister who has a 3-year-old belongs to Mother's groups as well as related listservs. Several she has quit several over dust-ups like those. Of course it takes her a while to leave, meanwhile she sends us copies of the various outrageous statements.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Seriously: I laughed for quite a while after reading that story. PC-ism at its best. It's one thing to be polite to one another and respect each other's opinions, and another to question the gender specificity of a *hat.*

    I'm baffled.

    But still giggling....
