    D'oh! I was at Katsu last night, too (as you know)--and didn't think to ask for the fresh-grated!

    Something in the back of my mind said, "If they had it, they'd offer it, and asking for it would just be pushy." I have to get over that.

    This poster hung in my kitchen for many years. Its inherent awesomeness aside, I liked the fact that the pig seemed to be quite pleased, illustrative of my belief that all of my foodstuffs are perfectly thrilled to be eaten by me.

    Once, a friend pointed out that the pig's expression didn't seem pleased so much as it seemed evil, and that he was probably the traitor who sold out the other pigs and led them to slaughter.

    I'm not sure which explanation I prefer, but I haven't quite seen the poster in the same light since.
