Am I the only one getting a kick out of "Food Jammers"? It's sort of a Toronto Mythbusters Build Team that only plays with food. More than a bit cheesy, but lots of fun watching them goof off with power tools spending dozens of hours building something for a single cook. The ten-foot sausage cooked on a homemade sausage rolling device over a grill made from a rain gutter was brilliant.
What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?

Love that show. Would not want to eat anything they make when I'm sober, but EUI would be awesome.

Jennifer Paterson died back in 1999.
:( That makes me sad. However, I bet she had one heck of an interesting life. I'll miss you Jennifer.

Always loved Two Fat Ladies, especially when they were tooling around in their motorbike with sidecar.

I just watched the first 5 min of Bitchin' Kitchen. Wow. Is that a Canadian doing a Brooklyn accent?

Speaking of the show Two Fat Ladies :D I decided to honor Jennifer and purchase one of their cookbooks. Wow, in case you didn't know, those books are now EXPENSIVE. Maybe they are collector's items. Anyway, I found a used one at a reasonal price on line. It was delivered yesterday, and I love it. I can hear in my mind Jennifer and Clarissa telling me about each recipe.

Cooking channel has now been added to my current lineup of Dish network programming at no extra charge(not sure when it happened),in HD as well. *Not a free preview, that ended earlier in October. *
Watched for a few hours this weekend, and particularly liked a couple shows yesterday, (1) with some guy in Vietnam, and (1) with an asian girl with a British accent cooking Chinese food.

Its nice to have another viewing option when FN is airing some cake or dessert show which I dont care for.

Where I live it's on free preview now. One of the shows over the weekend was Julia Child from her original '60s series. Now if only they would broadcast the Keith Floyd shows from Britain!

I have really taken a liking to "Chuck's Day Off"- simple and delicious recipes that can be easily duplicated by the average home cook.

You should check out Top Gear on BBC America. Quite good entertainment, on now. :D
The most dangerous food to eat is wedding cake.
