Food bloghers in Chicago

No, not a typo. There was a big convention of female bloggers at Navy Pier last weekend. The food bloggers among them had a get-together at LSC. You can see who was there, and link to their blogs, at at this flickr set.

Quick sexist observations (which, of course, as a woman I'm allowed to make):
a) women food bloggers are more likely to be blogging about cooking than about eating out
b) only a bunch of women food bloggers would put up a photo set of the women but none of the food!

This frankly surprises me as most young(er) women I know don't really know how to cook.
