Finally...

I've been wandering around here for a few years now - and just had a register to say thanks. I didn't know where else to put this post - but since it has nothing to do with food this seemed like the best fit.

I was first introduced to the site back in Feb of 2005 by your own Mike G (although he doesn't know it). He had written a delightful post about food in Playa del Carmen on playa.info where I am a member. I came over to LTH and found, in my opinion, the greatest Chicago dining website created. I've never been disappointed in any recommendation I've gotten from you guys and gals.

I've found some great restaurants because of this site - my favorite recommendation thus far has been La Quebrada in Aurora. It is great to find a site that recommends the smaller, locally-owned establishments opposed to the chains that litter the Naperville/Aurora area.

Anyway - I hope to offer some input and reviews from restuarants I've visited. I don't have any culinary training to back up my opinions - I just know what makes my tummy happy.
