And so deep is his love for off-the-beaten-path authentic foodstuffs that his take on Lao Sze Chuan was "best egg roll in Chinatown", and he never orders Chinese food without MSG, because then it's just "watery gravy and overcooked vegetables"!
Anxious to hear what else he has to contribute!

Well, I thought his fish taco reminiscences showed a nice appreciation for discovering fresh, simple, local flavors. I was entirely unaware of his other published food writing. Dommage.
