I came across this and couldn't help but laugh and the comments below it. Has anyone tried this stuff?

I'd buy that. Has anyone seen it in stores? Apparently you can buy it online, but only in a three-pack.

Note that Baconnaise(tm) is vegetarian, totally artificially flavored.

I'd go for one of the real bacon mayo recipes, myself.

I don't get it. Right on the label it says No Artificial Flavors, yet it's vegetarian and kosher. Whaaa?

Hey... Mango would be a natural flavor. Wouldn't taste much like bacon, but it would be natural :-)

Unfortunately, "Natural flavors" just means it comes from a natural source. You can have soy and corn make up a "natural" maple flavoring. I started reading food labels a lot more closely once I found that out!

I got a free jar of it at Baconfest, fully expecting to despise it.

I actually like it. Mayo texture, a little smoky-meaty flavor, neither overdone or gross. I put it on a ham sandwich occasionally, though I have to say, at this rate you could probably come over for some in 2012.

As for the free bacon-flavored dog food I was given, haven't tried that yet.

Do they make one with lettuce, tomato and toasted bread flavoring too? It's such a PITA to make a BLT.

I have a friend who eats this stuff by the spoonful. I've gifted him with jars several times the last couple years. His obsession seems to have done him no harm, but he's also a triathlete with the metabolism of a chipmunk.

I originally bought it to make lazy-man's BLTs, but I find I prefer my bacon flavoring with the requisite chew, crunch, and grease.

Not a big fan of the Baconnaise, but their Bacon Salt is pretty damn good on popcorn.

Its okay. I bought it at jewel I think. Its a smoky version of mayo. Mostly I go for the regular mayo so I 've not become addicted to the stuff. I'll finish the jar but I don't think I'll be buying again.
