    One of Québec's top chefs—Au Pied de Cochon's Martin Picard—has just opened a sugar shack. It's already shaking up how one thinks about this venerable institution. He's going to set up a meat locker, truck garden, and raise some PIGS (!!) for the resto in town. Oh man, talk about something to look forward to. He's already taking reservations for next Spring...

    The meat locker is a done deal. You can actually see into it from the bar.

    You're right. This year is fully booked, the earliest you can get in is next spring. They are supposedly only open to the public during sugaring season, approximately a month.

    Jeez, I didn't see any dancers (un)clothed like that up here in Québec. Musta been too cold! :)

    After visiting a typical Québecois sugar shack by the name of Club Wanda's during my bachelor party, I second this advice :P
