Need Person to Explain Where Our Food Comes FromA freelance producer at WBEZ, Chicago Public Radio, is looking for a person who would be able to walk through a local grocery store and talk about various food items and where they come from. She’d like to focus on a few products with a complex, crazy provenance (you know, ingredients from Latin America, assembled in Europe, sold through a company in Asia) and others that are local and maybe don’t take such an indirect route to market. The focus will probably be on prepackaged food (like cereal), produce, meat and dairy.
The taping will take place in Chicago this Thursday and will take about one hour.
If you have this kind of expertise, or know someone who does, shoot me an email or PM or post here.
Thanks,
Hammond
